1. Touch Begins - THURSDAY

No Touch Tonight due to incoming weather, sloppy field conditions.

With the season over then touch rugby time! Touch will start Thursday Night at LH Park. Touch starts at 7:00 PM and is open to all. Thursday Night Socials through out the summer will be at the Blarney Stone Pub.

2. Calendar

PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE BELOW DATES:

• Thursday April 19, 2007
 Touch Starts at LH Park – great time for new players to learn the game and to meet the team – touch starts at 7:00 PM
• Wednesday May 2, 2007
 Annual General Meeting/ AGM – This will be held at Ben’s Half Yard House on Upper Greenville Ave. north of Park Lane and south of Walnut Hill. Meeting will start at 7:30 PM.
• Thursday May 17, 2007
 Dallas RFC will host Chingford RFC at Jesuit College Prep. Kick off will be 7:30 PM – B side match
• Saturday May 19, 2007
 Dallas RFC will again host Chingford RFC at LH Park. Currently we are set for a 3:30 PM KO – A side match
• Saturday June 2, 2007
 Dallas RFC will host its Lone Star 7’s Tourney at LH Park. This is an all day event and we need all the guys out to help set up and to tear down.
• Saturday June 16, 2007
 Dallas RFC End of the Year Banquet – to be held AGAIN – at Ozona’s Bar and Grill – more details soon.

3. 7’s T-Shirt Design Contest

Artistic are you? Well, get that pen, pencil, or clip art ready for a Design Contest. Dallas RFC is looking for one solid piece of artwork for the Lone Star 7’s t-shirts.

a. We need a logo for the front
b. We need a piece of art for the back.
c. All artwork needs to be submitted to Filip Keuppens at filip_keuppens@hotmail.com
d. Artwork is due at 5:00 PM on April 27th
e. 12 hour extension available – but you need to email Fil
f. Officers will vote on best design
g. Winner gets:
i. Artwork on back of tourney t-shirt
ii. Ad space on back of t-shirt
iii. $50 in Dallas RFC money – good for dues or gear.
