1. Nov. 10 Events - Quins matches plus Austin Street Shelter clothingdrive - Great turnout this weekend! We’d like to thank all of our fans for coming out and supporting the team, and thank everyone who donated itemsto the Austin Street Shelter. We had two truck loads full of gear to drop off, and the charity could not believe how much we pulled in. Jeff, thanks for all your work on this, I also want to recognize Fil, Jose and Ted for all their work too. A special thanks to Big Al and Jim Cott for cooking and selling all the food, and thanks to the ladies for their help as well.
2. Order new Sam Adams jerseys - $60. We received our team set of new jerseys sponsored by Sam Adams. We will be placing another order for personal jerseys on November 30th, so get your order in by Nov. 29th at practice. Please write size and number desired on the check - cost is $60.
3. Christmas Party - December 15th. This year’s Christmas Party will be on Saturday December 15th, Time and place TBD.This is always a great time, you aren’t going to want to miss this. This is our annual white elephant gift exchange, wives and g/fs are encouraged to participate, just need to bring their own gift. Free Keg and snacks … Oh, we need volunteers to bring snacks!
4. For Sale: Pint Glasses - $4 Warm-up tops - $50 We’ve just received our new Dallas RFC glass pints - $4 a piece. We are down to 9 warm-ups - $50 (we won’t be buying more for some time so get them now).
5. TRU Ends relationship with STRR. TRU has decided to end their relationship with STRR. TRU will invitereferees from STRR to join their newly formed referee organization. Thisshould not affect the club, although TRU is looking for people who havepreviously, or might be interested in reffing. Additional details are available, please send me a note if you want meto send it to you.
