The men of DRFC faced Fort Worth Rugby Club at Jesuit this past Saturday. Looking to build on both team wins from the previous week, Dallas knew what needed attention and focused on those details in training. Their hard work paid off with two convincing victories over the opposition.

The 2nd XV match began the afternoon. 23 minutes in, Dallas Halfback Jose Aguilar exploited the opposition, catching them off guard with a quick tap scampering in for the first score of the match, conversion by Flyhalf Dan Carson. Fort Worth scored in the final minutes of the half and missed the conversion, bringing the match to 7-5 at intermission.

Last Saturday, October 24 - the Club hosted DARC, and won a rather lack-luster match by the score of 39 to 10.  The 1st XV were led by Sean Barbeau's three tries,  Darrell Tigh's two tries, plus Dwight Coleman, and Ernest Carrasco with one try each. Kyle Gross  made two conversions.

The 2nd XV put on a clinic, beating DARC 2nd XV by a score of 72 to 10. New-comer Andrew Jaeger scored three tries, and Dan Carson scored two tries. Manny Martinez, Brent Robinson, Kevin Sauer, Garrett Mueller, Mike Xuereb, Kelly May, and Austin Byrne also scored tries.
